Strong Rope Brewery
Red Hook, Brooklyn
Strong Rope Brewery's waterfront taproom in beautiful Red Hook, Brooklyn, will be the location of our celebration. Inside you'll find a classic Brooklyn industrial space with whitewashed brick walls and huge glass doors leading to the waterfront patio.
On the patio the waves crash against the rocks while you experience some of the best views of the New York harbor and the Statue of Liberty you'll find anywhere in the city.
MORE
The Neighborhood
Set against a backdrop of shipping yards and pre-Civil War warehouses in South Brooklyn, Red Hook has a laid back, seaside village vibe. There's a mix of homey eateries, quirky bars, modern art galleries and boutiques along Van Brunt Street – the neighborhood's main artery.
Only a ten-minute drive from downtown Manhattan or Downtown Brooklyn, we encourage you to experience the neighborhood during your visit. It's better than Times Square. We promise.
"...But won't it be like, super hot??"
We know it's your job as our guest to ask these hard-hitting questions, and very much appreciate your concern. While it's scientifically impossible to dictate the weather (where you at, Elon??), we can say that we've been to this exact brewery during many of NYC's warmest Summer days, and have never felt uncomfortably hot thanks to the combination of breezes coming off the water, massive fans, and, of course, cold beverages.
That said, below we have listed the high & low temperatures in NYC on July 6th over the past several years. Hopefully this helps inform your apparel decisions. And if we get an unseasonably hot day, remember: we'll all be sweating profusely together.
